This year all fixtures will happen virtually.
You have a week to run the required distance. This will be either 5 miles or 10K if you are an adult, or 1 mile if you are a tenderfoot. You can also run 400m if you want to take part in our relay. Your club's Summer League rep should tell you how to submit your results and will then send everything into the central website.
Ideally you will record your run using a GPS watch, but if you don't have one, do your best. This year's summer league is run on trust.
The number one rules this year are safety and courtesy. Please find a route you can run safely while following the current social distancing rules. Please respect other users of the space you are running in and give them priority.
This will be either 5 miles or 10K for adults. Any safe route is permitted, but please don't use a downhill one. Points will be calculated according to the usual summer league rules based on age grading.
The virtual tenderfoot race will be over 1 mile. Any safe route is permitted, but please don't use a downhill one. Points will be calculated according to the usual summer league rules.
Each leg will be run separately over 400m. Do not use a downhill route. Club reps will decide which of the 400m laps that have been run by their club to put together in each team. They can put forward up to 4 teams, a men's team a women's team and A and B teams. The usual intricate scoring system applies.
